Jonette Stabbert, originally from New York, has lived in the
Netherlands since 1970 where she operates the POPPETTE Doll Studio.
A life long designer, her bear-making evolved from dollmaking.
Jonette was staff designer for the Dutch teddy bear publication
BeerBericht and has written and designed for a number of craft
publications in the US and the Netherlands. Some of her bears have
been manufactured under license by the renowned German firm of
SIGIKID.

Thomas Size: 25 cm/ 10 inches. This handsome bear is unusual because he is
made from distressed oatmeal colored cotton plush, which makes him
look old, and stuffed with special European cotton filling which is
quite heavy. He has a soft-sculpted dark brown woolen nose, and a
vest made from the same wool. Thomas has bright black bead eyes and
felt paw pads with embroidered claws. Limited edition of three.

Gregory KerfuffleTM
is 8 1/2 inches (21 cm.) tall. He is made from dense golden mohair
and has small close -set black eyes, a soft-sculptured black velour
nose and a pink velour tongue, long shaved snout and ears that are
positioned on the top of his head. A bear with a very comical
expression. Limited edition of 3 pieces.
